Capitalmind Investec has advised HPS International on the acquisition of Codipro

HPS International is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of complex industrial hydraulic cylinders, generating 80% of its sales internationally.

As part of its growth strategy, HPS International completed the acquisition of Codipro, a Luxembourg-based specialist in top-of-the-range articulated lifting rings. The aim of this move is to bring together two complementary international players with strong brands, recognized in their respective markets for the quality of their products and services, and whose equipment is critical to the production lines of most industries and essential to safety.

The combined entity generates a consolidated turnover of €41m revenues.

What we did

Capitalmind Investec assisted HPS International throughout the entire buy-side process:

• Overall coordination,
• Assessment of the opportunity and potential synergies sizing,
• Coordination of the buyer due diligence process,
• Securing the transaction financing, and
• Active support in the deal negotiation.
