About the deal

The founder and owner of the Swiss ophthalmology provider AugenCentrum Zytglogge AG has entered a partnership with ARTEMIS Augenkliniken Group in order to capture the strong growth potential of the Swiss ophthalmology market.

ARTEMIS Augenkliniken Group was founded in 1999 and operates more than 140 ophthalmology facilities in Germany Switzerland. The group is owned by Montagu Private Equity and covers the full spectrum of diagnostic and surgical ophthalmic treatments.

AugenCentrum Zytglogge AG is the leading provider of conservative and surgical ophthalmology services in the region of Bern. The company operates 5 locations including an outpatient clinic. AugenCentrum Zytglogge AG was founded in 2003 by Dr. med. Baumann.
