About the deal
Valori, a Dutch Software Quality Assurance (QA) & Testing firm focused on improving the quality of information technology products and services, was sold by Holland Capital to Cerios. Avedon takes over the investment role from Holland Capital, a Dutch based mid-market PE investor with focus on Healthcare, Technology and Food & Agri.
Valori’s QA and Test Consultants build quality into IT systems at all stages of software development. The company has been doing this for over 33 years with technology solutions, advisory and expert services, with the goal to ensure that software moves to production faster with better quality and then maintains its quality.
Ewout Prins, Managing Partner Holland Capital: “We are proud to have supported Valori in realising its growth ambitions over the past four years. The acquisition by Cerios allows Valori to take the next step in its development.”
Jaap Merkus, CEO Valori: “Through the collaboration with Holland Capital, Valori has experienced a unique acceleration in realising its ambitions. Focused investments and entrepreneurship were central to this. That is why we were ready for the next step, and that is joining Cerios, supported by Avedon. With Cerios, we can realise the next phase of growth for our clients and professionals.”
Avedon Capital Partners aims to further develop and grow the company with a ‘House of Brands’ strategy under the umbrella brand Cerios. The new Cerios brand brings together over 400 consultants with the leading companies Valori, Salves, De Agile Testers, and Quality Accelerators.
