What we did
Capitalmind Investec’s task was to accompany the M&A process including preparation of documentation and modelling for a possible acquisition financing. Furthermore Capitalmind Investec assisted BeOne Invest in negotiations with the seller, and later the liquidator, as well as during due diligence.
About the deal
b1 Engineering Solutions was part of Germany based multimedia group Blaupunkt. b1 supplies engineering services and development, mainly for embedded systems. Blaupunkt group was formerly held by Aurelius who did not engage in any operational improvement. In October 2015 the group entered into self-administration. BeOne Invest BV, a vehicle of a serial acquirer in the car infotainment industry, bought b1 Engineering Solutions out of Blaupunkt group by way of carve-out.
