About the deal
Sport 2000 is positioned on the “sportswear and fashion” and benefits from strong brand awareness. N°3 in France, the group operates in 553 shops in France under four brand names: Sport 2000 for all sports, including mountain sports, S2 for fashionable shoes in a small urban shop format, Espace Montagne as an outdoor specialist and lastly Mondovelo for the world of cycling.
Activa Capital sold its participation (53%) in Sport 2000 France to its co-shareholder Sport 2000 Cooperative, which comprises the adherents of the Sport 2000 France network.
