About the deal
Founded in 2014 and managed as a REIT since 2018, Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG invests primarily in light industrial properties (e.g., industrial parks, logistics centres, production facilities, etc.) with good infrastructure links and a regional focus.
The company’s objective is to generate steady and sustainable earnings growth and to diversify risk through further acquisitions and strategic asset and property management.
The REIT has been listed on the Berlin Stock Exchange since December 2017, also listed in the Prime Standard of Deutsche Boerse AG.
As of September 2021, the real estate portfolio comprises 89 properties with a commercial area of 1.58 million m² and a portfolio value of EUR 789 million.
The business park in Remscheid comprises of an area of 42.6k m² and 192 commercial units. Tenants are companies from the mechanical engineering, specialized retail and logistics sectors.
The inflow will be used for general corporate purposes and to financing investments in the business park Remscheid.

We advised our client in the negotiations with potential financing partners from the first contact to the closing with the optimal partner.
