About the deal

ING Corporate Investments acquired a minority stake in Stravers Torenkranen (Stravers), a leading European provider of electric tower crane solutions.

Stravers offers extensive rental services, which are augmented with maintenance and other services plus a part in crane sales. In providing all of those services, Stravers is able to engineer the best solution for their clients. Other services include installation & repair, erection and dis-mantling, crane checks, transportation and insurance to unburden clients and provide a ‘onestop-solution’.

The company was founded in the 1980s and the rental fleet now consists of over 120 tower cranes, all of which are fully electric (100% green). Stravers is a truly international firm with clients served widely in Continental Europe, but also stretching significantly further afield.

With ING Corporate Investments as its new partner, Stravers is now ready to further pursue their growth strategy.

What we did

Capitalmind Investec advised the shareholder of Stravers Torenkranen throughout the sales process, with: (i) Drafting marketing materials, (ii) Approaching potential buyers, (iii) Price negotiations, (iv) Managing due diligence and (v) Coordinating legal documentation.
