What we did

Capitalmind is a long-term partner of Spigraph and the acquisition of Dicom is the sixth transaction advised by our teams. We provided value-added advice and efficient execution thanks to an in-depth knowledge of Spigraph strategy, business, market environment and management.

Capitalmind’s ability to propose and negotiate a creative deal combined with a high reactivity was key to the success of this transaction. We rapidly buile good relationships with the target (shareholders, management and advisors) and provided day-to-day assistance to Spigraph teams in order to execute seamlessly the transaction from the first discussions with the sellers to closing.

About the deal

Based in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier near Lyon, Spigraph is the leading European value added distributor for document capture solutions.

Following the integration of the Swiss-based DICOM International group, Spigraph will become the undisputed leading Value Added Distributor (VAD) in the EMEA zone (Europe, Middle East and Africa) in the document capture market. The new group generates €130m in revenues and employs 400 people.

The combination of the two groups will lead to a greater geographical coverage, a larger product and service range with more added value, and will generate quick synergies (eg clients portfolio, logistics, G&As).
