What we did

Capitalmind advised Bureau Veritas during the entire sale process: preparation of marketing materials, anticipation of carve-out topics, making contact with potential buyers, organization of a competitive process, support during the due diligence phase and final negotiations with the buyer.

About the deal

CEP Industrie, a subsidiary of Bureau Veritas, specializes in non-destructive testing services for the nuclear, oil & gas and the aerospace industries. With nearly 200 employees, the company has been in operation for 70 years, providing a wide range of technical skills at its laboratories and on its clients’ sites.

Engie, acquiring CEP Industrie via its subsidiary Endel, gives birth to a French leader in the non-destructive testing and inspection market. Moreover, this acquisition provides Engie with scope for growth – important new prospects in a key sector, to tap further development and technical innovation for the years to come. The deal also strengthens its territorial network.
