About the deal

The Rent Company, incorporated in 2007, is the market leading specialist provider of full-service IT solutions to students in the Netherlands. The company offers a full-service and tailored offering of laptops to students including an affordable rental option. The company is working in partnership with schools and develops a tailored offering for each school accompanied by a school-specific webshop where students can order their device. Students can choose their own device and either purchase or rent a laptop accompanied with a 3 – 4 year service contract.

What we did

Capitalmind Investec actively supported the founders and shareholders of The Rent Company along the MBO and sales process including negotiations, valuation and structuring guidance, execution support up to closing and negotiation of the final legal documentation.
