What we did

Capitalmind has advised Future Consulting’s shareholders all along the sale process: designing the transaction strategy, preparation of marketing documents, identification and approach of selected strategic and financial buyers, coordination of all parties involved, and negotiation support up to closing.

About the deal

Future Consulting specializes on the recruiting of IT service providers and freelancers for well-known customers including DAX and MDAX companies. The company employs around 60 internal staff as well as 300 additional freelancers and operates through three business segments: third-party management, contracting/recruiting and temporary employment. After several years of strong sales growth, the owners of Future Consulting decided to sell the company.

The ESSVP IV fund, advised by Orlando Management AG, (“Orlando”) is a leading private equity investor in the DACH and Nordic region with an investment focus on complicated buy-out situations including company successions. It invests in market-leading companies with the potential to grow organically and through add-on acquisitions.

The transaction marks an important step for both Future Consulting and ESSVP IV. With the support of the new shareholders, Future Consulting will benefit from growth opportunities in new customer and business segments. The acquisition provides ESSVP IV with a well-established platform to grow in the staffing services market and to pursue a buy-and-build strategy.
