What we did

• Sourced the opportunity for Groupe Réel and managed to get Groupe Réel up to speed as the disposal had been initiated by Rio Tinto Alcan 2 months earlier
• Actively supported Groupe Réel all along this fast-track acquisition process: from preliminary review of documentation made available and drafting the qualifying NBO to organising and monitoring an effective due diligence process, till binding offer and definitive agreements negotiations.
• Also assisted Groupe Réel during the mandatory social communication phase
• Advised Groupe Réel on raising debt to finance its growth strategy, including the Alesa acquisition: from marketing materials preparation to pro-active management of discussions with banks and comparison of preliminary offers and negotiation of definitive financing agreements
