We acted as exclusive sell-side advisor to the founder family and a minority shareholder of Schnöring GmbH. Our team designed an M&A process targeting selected strategic and financial buyers with very little impact on the day to day management of the company. Developed a detailed understanding of the company and compiled a comprehensive list of buyers. Global approach of buyers to get a detailed understanding of their interests and strategies and selection of the most likely and motivated buyers for the process. Prepared all documentation from teaser to management presentation. Due Diligence coordination, data room preparation and management, and Q&A. Kept momentum in the process and finalized negotiations with natural buyer Kern-Liebers.
About the deal
Schnöring GmbH is a contract manufacturer for small sized metal springs, stamped and bent parts in family ownership. The company was seeking to find a new strategic partner to guide further growth. Capitalmind advised the owner families on the sale to Kern-Liebers.
