Capitalmind Investec advised Gorenjska banka and its shareholders on a combined process to maximize shareholder value while achieving the €13m recapitalization in a potential combination with the sale of shares from existing shareholders. We made a broad market for Gorenjska banka and were involved in structuring the deal, deal negotiations and the coordination of the Due Diligence process.

Gorenjska banka is a leading regional retail and SME bank in Gorenjska region, Slovenia, EU. 101,000 loyal retail and 8,000 corporate & SME clients, high market share of 45% retail & >15% SME and corporate in the Gorenjska region. Gorenjska banka is a subsidiary of Sava dd., the transaction is the 10th transaction for Sava by Capitalmind Investec (EquityGate). AIK banka provides retail, corporate and agriculture banking products and services in the Republic of Serbia and internationally. Part of MK Group – Serbian Conglomerate. The banks have complementary regional footprints and significant synergy potential. AIK banka is looking to reach majority stake in Gorenjska banka.
